Get's shit reviews to what I was expecting, but imo is good clean fun.

MP is very straightforward online and Xui has managed to jump into a few games with me very easy so I think the system works well.

Worth buying.

Its like most other Wii games ive played (with a few exceptions) pure unadulterated fun :)

and if this game qualifies as "for kids", I'd like to see them win a gold medal in the special cup on 150cc

I'm a little disappointed in the local multiplayer since the game forces you to play 6vs6 games, so with 4 Wiimotes you'll always have 8 CPU players.

Anyone doing the competitions that Ninty is posting?

I can't get anywhere even close to the race leaders on the last one and I'm still a good 9 seconds short of the winners on the current one.

The new battle arena one that went up yesterday is good as it forces all entries to use the Wii wheel too.
