i do like the idea of open PvP but i know i it can be a pain in the ass too.

Thier are a hell of a lot of PvP areas and things on the PvE relms.

not voted yet but i will.

If we go PvP we will need to group and Lv, this is my main worry as i doubt it will happen much till we hit the hi lvs.
but if we do i'll vote Rp-PvP over normal gank fest servers.

I've not voted as I'm not playing but I'll say playing WoW on a PvP server was far more fun than the PvE server for me, always keeping an eye out for gankers and the satisfaction of corpse camping someone who you'd put on to your KoS list.

RP-PVP has no appeal what so ever though, but then I'm perfectly happy being me and have no desire to pretend to be someone else

So far, it seems that the first island (tutorial) is pvp-free. Except the wine cellar, where I've not dared venture too deep (besides, I quickly got my insides ripped outside when I stumbled on a level 18 guard as a level 9 assasssin. I'm playing on Aquilonia, btw, and as of now, I've not seen much smacktalking. There's also an OOC channel for those of us who doesn't enjoy RPing

Going to go for the PvE tbh.
Shit load of PvP in the bored kingdoms, and other PvP bits tbh.

I'll join the rp-server if people go too.
But I dont think I can be arsed with all the kids and grifers.
Would prefer the PvP if not for spending hours camped at spawn points lol.

Voted PvE, mainly because PvP is apparently extremely unbalanced.

Also, I never liked the idea of spending half an hour defying death to fight my way into a cave for a quest, only to be killed by someone 15 levels higher than me.
Another point is that PvP servers always lack the classes that are less effective in PvP but are crucial in raids: healers, hybrids and utility classes. There might not be any raids in Conan atm, but there will be, and if this becomes "the next big MMO", I wanna be on a server were I can enjoy raid content.

This looks like a good compermise, atleast u'll only get ganked 1/2 the time now.
I would be up for this kinda server or PvE, if others who voted PvE want to swap.
and we can agree on a culture too lol...

Cimmerian would get my vote i think, though i would miss seeing the other classes in a grp as the necro looks really usful.

One of the downsides I foresee though is it will be pissed about with more than the other two types of server . That said it's an interesting third option which could have potential.

I think we should strat of guilded, then join a bigger one later or grow ours if we want end game PvP which i do for sure.

Looked on play, mine was shiped today so i get the feeling i wont be getting it tomorrow
