I'll be going home in 2 weeks and was just wondering if there were any spare keys floating around as Sift seemed to think that the option had been taken away now.

I'm getting more and more tempted to try this out but would like to have a little look for free before shelling out £30.

If anyone has one I'd really appreciate it.

only people with the collecters edition will be able to give them out any time soon..

thier not letting people use them till thier servers can handle it extra load and more of the main issues are fix'd.

but tbh prob worth waiting.

Macey, you can have my full key. I'm fed up of what is the buggiest piece of shit I have ever played.

Some people seem ok but I literally can't play for at least 75% of the time because it either crashes or lags out. It aint just me either, there are a lot of people on the forums with the same problems and they aint getting sorted.

Do not spend money on this, at least not yet.

I had the same probs and then tried the solution Drago posted on the guild forum:



Basically changes some registery settings to regulate the TCP traffic to and from the servers.

Seems to work pretty good for me, no more lagspikes or anything, fluent gameplay all around. I still get some FPS drops occasionally but thats to be expected with everything maxed out.

The crashes can be due to a fragmented disk/pagefile, run a defrag as well maybe that'll help.

I pre-ordered the WAR collectors addition the other day and seeing as you were in the beta I wanted to get your opinion if you think it will be worth playing.

I'm hoping to get the DAOC feeling again in all honesty so all I need is a yes or no really.

Kuif - the crashes seem to be more than just latency. I can play happily on an alt with no latency problems but other smaller bugs like menus disappearing; but on my main its random crashes and latency problems all the time.

EN - For PvP its a yes. For PvE its WoW. I like it more than AoC.
