imo I would dump this - it had every opprotinuty to be great - but every release new bug. I would for sure based on my experience so far of closed beta . . . now nda lifted go with WAR. Its so polished!

AoC has a larger than life feel, and the fgx on max res and water effects are awesiome. But its bug after bug and the crafting is shite i have a lvel 71 ToS and although I have put a lot of time in I would have regreats for sure when WAr is releaed.

I have made a few friends despite the shitty grouping experience encouraged by the system of play, i.e. you can easily solo to 80 for sure.

I think most people have already put it as a see what its like in 6months or so/give up on game.

Poor old Funcom... they did it so fantastically with Anarchy Online - what went wrong this time? Easy answer would be everything I suppose.

As for Neobix in AoC, he's gone and done with AoC for a while. Returned to WoW to play with a newly found real life mate who suddenly found WoW interesting to try. Other spare time I spend on inventing crazy creations in Spore.

Was a shame really.

I thought AoC had a innovative combat system.
Maybe, just maybe ill have a peak in a few months time.

Aye, it looked good and the screenies you guys were posting looked interesting, but never quite seemed to have what I was looking for so didn't even get as far as purchasing a copy.

hehe - I am still playing too - a lot of the bugs are gone, got to level 80 now though it wasnt that much of a slog:) Not much content but there are a few raids and stuff going on so not all bad.

Trying not to invest to much time into WAR beta though coz my cars will get deleted on release:D

Ive tried out WAR on my friends account a bit (up to about rank20). The game is great except that it perhaps feels a little stale, but over all very polished and great pvp/rvr!

I will definately try it out once wotlk is old and used up.

Knocked everything but War on the head. May resub AoC after Chrimbo for a month and see what it's like.

You mean they manage to have an amasing amount of issues at release with anarchy online, that it can only be classified as fantastic ?
Tbh i love anarchy online, but it got way to old. Just like WoW, old dogs that are suffering should be put to sleep, even if 10 million ppl want to pet em

Funnily enough, I resubbed on Thursday while lotro was down for maintenance. Logged on for all of ten minutes and haven't been back as yet. Lotro has enough to keep me interested at the moment.

Also resubbed for a while have not played it that much yet though.

Haha. I will try to get my money's worth out of Conan. Unlike when I resubbed to WoW and lasted 15 minutes.

Actually found myself having fun the other night when I suddenly realised I could actually craft things.
