Tribal Wars is a free, real time, browser based MMO. The game is based around the gathering of 3 main resources: wood, clay and iron. These resources are converted into buildings and military units, which are used to grow the player's empire. How that is achieved and how resources are used is controlled by the player. A main objective of the game appears to be the race to gain Nobles. These powerful units allow you to take over other villages. It's a delicate balance of maintaining a defense while attacking other villages to grow your empire faster. Will you be offensive (Beans), defensive or just beg for mercy at every opportunity (Maui)?

• Nobles - these units allow you to take over other players villages, once their morale has been reduced to zero.

• Paladins - fast moving, hard bastids in a bad mood! They earn weapons through fighting battles. A guide to the weapons and what bonuses they provide is here.

• Scouts and scouting - please refer to this Wiki link for scouting info. Note that resource levels reported by scouts are resources left in the village after your haul has been removed (you did actually send some troops that can carry loot, unlike scouts, right?).

T

• T is for tools:
  • TW Inspect - get player/tribe growth/activity over the last 7 days.
  • TW Plus - an external tools site containing map, battle, calculation and other tools. Warning! The map function on this site freezes my pc for a short while (less than a minute).
  • TW Report Converter - converts in game reports to BB code for bragging rights on the forum.
  • TW Stats - provides stats and more tools similar to TW Plus.
  • Tribal Wars Map - excellent map tool with lots of useful functionality.
