Cue comparisons to WoW. Remember that this is alpha release stuff (allegedly).

IF that's alpha stage I wonder how beta will be...

Looks very WoW-esk to me, but it's better to rip off something good then make up something awfull I guess (bad translation of a Dutch proverb :~x )

I will however steer clear of the (open) beta for this seeing betas tend to ruin the fun for a game before it's even released.

Shaping up nicely, amongst the pwned and LOL messages underneath the video is quite a sensible one with someone saying they are looking forward to October 2007, is this the projected release date or is that when they are going on holiday?

the dates being banded around on warhammerallianc.com forums seem to being focusing in on November '07, but seeing as the game is still in alpha it prolly to early to guess it could be a lot earlier if they get it right r a lot later if not.

Also apparently there won't be an open beta. Instead people who are preordering will get to play in a beta period, Im not sure thats a good idea really cos beta are there to iron out bugs not get a head start.

After watching the video I think its look damn promising. The grfx engine eems slick and the UI fairly well polished, hopefully the beta will and a good few extra layers of gloss and balance to teh end release.

Thats a major difference to the short official clip on the main site. Certainly looks a lot better, I can see a lot of comparisons with WoW though :(

Nice one Gyng. I hope the Tier4 PvE quests aren't made up of escort quests and 'kill x mobs' quests. That could be fun.... not.
Hoping they supply some more in depth detail about PvP soon.

Very imformative, even if he does have an irritating accent. It will be good to know that as a n00b yer still going to be helping out high lvl people in RVR. I only hope they can control the servers properly so that the balence of players is more even overall unlike the heavy ally odds to the horde in WoW otherwise it could get dull very quickly. Its nice feeling to prevail against vast numbers as an underdog, but it can grow tiresome after months of repeatedly having to kill 3-1 before you can get anywhere.

Couldn't really see the detail clearly enough but it looks quite Wowesque™ in terms of the environment. Not that it worries me. I'm a believer in gameplay over graphics, every time but then again I am from the era of 5¼ inch floppies and the original Rogue game.

edit: And '5¼ inch floppies' is not a reference to my dick before you ejits start posting. You know who you are ;)

Hmm, its certainly starting to look better, the controls/movement still looked a little clunky there though. Combat also seemed quite static with all the melee just standing still hitting each other then moving to a new target to repeat. On a nostalgic note that target ring looks exactly like the one that used to be in Everquest 1. All in all it seems to be improving hopefully it will just get better & better.

I do agree the improvement from the last one is noticable, I have high hopes for what can be achieved by release. There is a lot of comments on other forums complaining about t looking like WoW.

I do not consider this a bad thing, infact I remember when Wow was first released people complaining about it looking childish and cartoony.

War can be like WoW as much as it wants as long as the get the PvP sorted like DAOC so I can fight my way through the levels instead of killing beasts :p

I complained about that during WoW beta. But somehow it didn't matter much after a while >.>;
