Can't remember my login password and there doesn't seem to be a password recover system...at least I can't find it

Created a new account and when I get an email to confirm my registration upon clicking the link in the email the warhammer website returns with an error

Dunno when you will see me ingame. I contacted the helpdesk and I expect an answer somewhere next month. In the meantime I'll keep clicking the link in the email.

Grindy, just try logging into the game, sometimes the mail takes a while to get through.

I have tried many a time but it wont let me log in keeps saying authentication failed - password or login incorrect.

I had the same problem with an old account, only think I could think of was that somehow it got corrupted and was claiming it hadn't been activated and I had to make a new account.

Might be quicker matey.

I made a second account but as yet that email has also not arrived so that i can activate it. heh sods law

aye, that was probably it. I suddenly got an email yesterday that my key activation was successfull and the game started.

Are you using the same username/password combination that you log into the website with?

Can you log into the website and see stuff?

are you running vista? apparently running Warhammer as an administrator has fixed some peoples problems.

Have you emailed them asking for help.

I do get 2 differing messages from logging and password recovery.

For password recovery i get.
No account is linked to this e-mail address.

Can you not just register again? Make a new email on your account, register etc and then take it from there?

That would mean i need a new email account to start with - as i have only ever had one email anyway

Have you switched the User Account Control off? If it's on the even having an account with admin permissions won't give you the same permissions that the admin accounts of old had. It causes all manner of problems with our apps and doesn't give a proper error either.

Yep have tried it with UAC of and still same problem
