Hehe it's not been my week so far! :)

So I downloaded these glorious 1.75 drivers that everyone was raving about and found that my performance in game deteriorated. More graphics lag spikes, more black screens and strange artefacts appearing out of nowhere.

My card has just properly crashed this morning. I've checked the Nvidia site and there's new drivers out again. September 25th dated.

I'm downloading them now and I'll let you know how they perform

I'm using the 177.92 beta drivers. They work fine for me.

177.92 (beta) are the drivers rap mentiond to people, same ones ive been using since i installed the 64bit drivers after AoC.

aye its the 1.77 drivers people are using not the 1.75..

I found an improvement when using them in mass pvp ..

ahh fantastic - they're now in production (as of yesterday)

I've installed them this morning. Hopefully I'll see an improvement tonight.

I have to admit my graphics card is starting to do exactly what my 6800 did when it was two years old. If it goes pop I'm replacing it with an ATI 4870.

dac tbh mate if u think your havng problems with nvidea drivers, your gona be in for even more hurt using ati`s LOL dont get me wrong ati make great cards but man there drivers suck :-(

I've only ever had issues with Nvidea stuff, all my ATI cards have been great and usually outlast the rest of the computer. Horses for courses but I personally can't be arsed with deciding which of the 7000 drivers I should use for slight performance gain. Then again I'm an AMD fanboi.

I had hellish trouble with the graphics and I know a number of others have had the same problems as me, what really helped was turning off the lightmaps.
All my reloading of textures problem went out the window.

Btw ello all just dropping by from the UKC area of the forums :lol:

Well its just over a week now since i had my new computer and I have 2 ati 4870 cards with 2gig memory in the crossfire mode and with latest drivers and have not had any problems with them at all.

Worst thing for me is that i still cant get and account set up for warhammer.
