I'm really struggling to decide on a Destro class to play:

Shaman - I like it but I don't like healing, I have already had to send on 5 year old retardard kid running back to mommy after a few to many 'Zomg! heal ffs' messages. Do these people not understand that by running head long into the Order pack and being nuked from all sides by Bright Wizards is a touch more DPS than my healing can mitigate.

Sorc - Nice damage and a wicked rack to boot, but ffs I keep blowing myself up, it is far to random. If there was a decent way or managing the backlash it would at least then be a skill. Maybe some spells that use up some of the build up so u can maintain a decent level of crit but give yourself a chance of not blowing your sexy little Elf bobbies off.

Witch Elf - I like the idea of these at later levels but at the moment I get to engrossed in watching the rather well done breast animations using the camera pan then find I'm in the middle of the Order zerg and moments later pressing the respawn button. I guess this class doesn't really start being any good until u get stealth?

So there the ones I tried thus far and only to lowish level. I did roll a BlOrc in beta and really liked it so I'm tempted by that, and for ages I wanted to roll a Magus but I went of that one a bit. The little pink thing that flicks out, some sort of AOE attack, rather to much for my liking reminds me of my infernal cat's cock when he starts humping stuff round the house.

Come on someone sell a class to me

I introduce to you, the button masher's dream.

The Marauder.

You have the DPS of a witch elf (or not far off) with the hp and ALOT more armour.

By lvl 9 you will have solid positional attacks and the ability to AOE the feck out of packed melee ( I base this on isquishus, my marauder).

NOTHING beats the fun of convulsive slashing that priest to death before he can get his heal off. Remember those annoying bright wizards? Imagine how it feels when you get in close and moider dem.

You don't get the sexy breasts but you do get an arm that changes to suit what you're after. You get a big axe or hammer (depending on what suits you sir) and you get to have alot of fun.

My advice to you is give that a try. It sounds to me like you just want to kill shit and not have to think about it. I'd go with melee dps - at the end of the day - it's fun, it's simple and it puts a smile on your face.

You can use Dhar wind to expell your dark magic if things are getting dangerous but it expells all of it. However at later levels theres a few things you can use to make it less of a pain. Absorb vitality, a lifetap dot. A tactic that gives you a HoT whenever you kill something and if you just want to share the pain theres one which dishes out pbaoe damage of 50% the backlash damage whenever it hits you.

Spec has a lot to do with how much damage backlash does to you, with a DoT spec you only get backlashed on the first tick so you can keep 100% dark magic pretty easily and still dish out alot of crits on virtually every tick.

Yup that's my spec, quite nice to to DoT and dash in the scenarios, especially the one that spreads to other chars near the one you dotted, so much fun to DoT the coward and watch him run to his healer and spread the damage...

Heres why i like dot spec (oh and having two dedicated healers for myself), 24 kills, 0 deaths and 311k dmg yum yum:

Seriously having Goose and Triggs healing me I was basically indestructible in that scenario. I gave up trying to be strategic to stay alive and just constantly ran into the Order zerg to throw my dots and AoE around.
