Hai Guise!

So why should you play Warhammer now?

1.) There's nothing else to play that's much cop mmowise (if you like pvp)

That's it really. I don't need more reasons for you than that. I'll give you some feedback tho on what to expect.

At the moment Mythic still haven't really fixed the Immunities issue that they had before. This means that on the odd occasion it is impossible to be chain stunned and silenced. This is annoying and normally leads to your rather unfortunate and fast demise.

The problem is that many forms of CC are on different timers. Knockback/Knock down. Stun/Silence/Disable/Disarm. Root/Snare. These can be chained by good groups and leave you incapacitated for much of the fight. Not brilliant but good for ranged dps.

The class rebalance along with a fairly ambitious secondary stat revamp has been shelved for June which is disappointing in many ways (some classes are still horrible to face - BW, WP The ususal suspects) but good in others (stops marauders being nerfed yet again by dodgy game mechanic changes)

The out of range bug is back but it's not as bad as before and Mythic have now been able to replicate it so there's hope yet.

So why should you return?

Well, for one, kill frenzy is a great guild for activities. There is a guild warband every night and most nights we run premade scenario groups too. Last night our guild premade went through the evening undefeated in scenarios and we locked 2/3 zones as a result. Quality fun for those involved (I was aoe grinding/questing all night)

There's lots of groups going to lost vale now and plenty of opportunity to get phat lewt to twink your toon out. There's also lots of decent people in guild so getting supplies like pots or talismans won't cost you the soul of your newborn child or anything like that ;)

Land of the Dead is out very soon. Darkness Falls comes ot War, only this time it's a whole zone and there's dungeons with traps in.

I hit whatever the top level was and then got bored (again) because you get your arse handed to you in RvR if you dont have all the gear. You only get all the gear by doing specific dungeons and you only get those groups if you got the wards and blah blah blah, endgame grind ahoy.

I got sick of asking for groups in guild or alliance and either getting ignored or etting told I didn't have enough wards, etc.

Time is precious and I cant dedicate the amount of time that is needed.

ahh Gangster

if you rvr mate you get tokens. These tokens can buy you the gear with the wards :)

Huzzah! :)

if you rvr/orvr for a couple of nights a week you should easily be able to get a piece of annhilator or even better if you're lucky

He's right about this, I've got 3 pieces of annihilator armour this week and I've not been logging on until after 10pm and not been playing every night either.

I've got 32 medals too which I can keep on collecting to trade for armour.

I've not got the time (or inclination) to arse about farming dungeons for a new wand, the oRvR is not as leet as some of the other MMO's and I've always been thrown an invite to WB whenever I've requested one tbh.

Kill frenzy guys seem to have a similar sense of humour too which helps. :)

Things must be getting desperate, they sent me a mail today begging me to re-sub and giving me free 10 days to make my mind up.

Shall I? Got a few days of leave to waste before going back to work next week.

Is it worth the hassle? I know every time I try to play a game the wife acts as though I'm the worst dad in the world. I wouldn't mind but she only wants me to look after Logan so she can sit on her arse watching TV on her laptop or browse the interwebs.

Give it a try mate if you like

I'll be honest guys - LOTD has kinda killed off alot of the scenarios/ distracted alot of my group mates from rvr at the moment

this leaves me groupless and grumpy cos I all really enjoy doing is small skirmish orvr and scenarios

As a result I've resubscribed Eve-Online and if War continues in this direction my account will go under in August.

It's a real shame because it could and should have been brilliant.
