Hi Guys,

Just to let you know.

Cancelled my WAR subscription for a bit. May be back at a later point, but for the moment just really bored with it and VERY disapointed in the LoTD.

Playing Pirates of the Burning Sea MMO and really enjoying it - not even started PvPing bit yet and it's great to be able to have a ship to fight with/gear up as well as a characer. we'll see how long it takes for the newness to ware off :). The ship combat adds a degree of personal skill to it as well as opposed to button spamming and class balancing issues.

Anyway - I'll stil lbe around on vent and stuff. Enjoy!

As someone who slogged through closed beta and into launch, I'll say: "not long." It's a refreshing take on MMO gaming, but, to be honest, the game sucks donkey balls once you're max rank. It sucked before that for me, because there's only so many sails and shots you can make before you get tired of it all. Still, they've a 14-day trial, so I'll recommend checking it out.

I wouldn't touch the game if someone paid me for it, until they fix endgame. Which will probably be never, or very late.

Hi Azaz,

I've done the 14 day trial and purchased for £7.99 from Steam with 30 days included. I'm already lvl 20 and should get into PvP soon to see what End game is like.

I'm really waiting for Jumpgate Evolution and The Old Republic to be released as the next major investment of MMO time.

PotBS is a good distraction till then. If it gets too boring and lack of end game is evident then I'll resub WAR for a bit.

I'm pretty sure I'm done with fantasy MMOs unless something really innovative comes out that breaks the mould such as The Old Republic.

The company was awesome, but the thought of lvling frm 70 to 80 is enough to make sure I never log on.

Odd, that's the kind of thing that appeals to me. If I still had access to my old account I'd probably have resubbed just to get my lot to 80 :oops:
