Been looking to find a decent MP3 encoder to convert all my WMA and other music formats, was thinking of just buying Winamp Pro but didnt really want to spend the dollar, was wondering if anyone had some decent free software that they can link me to or point me towards.

Probably not, since Audacity can't convert WMA to MP3.

What you *really* want is to re-rip the tracks directly to MP3. I recommend EAC (freeware) coupled with the Lame MP3 Encoder. You don't want to go from a bad encoder to a good one (WMA->MP3) anyway.
