My mic doesn't work on my new PC. Copied the settings from the old PC but it doesn't work. Mic works fine when I test it for recording under XP and it works in BF2.

Got a Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS with a Creative HS-300 headset.

Not sure if this helps. I always have to fiddle around with a fresh install of Vent to get everything working again.

Just had the same problem with my new machine on Vent, I had forgotten to choose the new soundcard as the input/output. I am sorted now.
