A week or two ago I noticed that was no longer able to click on links in forums or on java type pop ups from websites. A window would open but would stay blank, no error, no time out, just an open blank window. On links from forums I could right click, copy shortcut and paste the address into the new window and it would work but the java stuff wont work at all.

I havent arsed about with Internet Options, I have an up to date virus guard and windows update so what the fek is going on??

The only thing I did do was my monthly running of Spybot S&D which I finished by using the immunize option. COuld this have done something and if so how do I reverse it??

Do you have multiple pop-up blockers on the go? Tbh my answer to all IE problems is usually "get firefox" works a treat I'm not a fan of Spybot S&D myself though, I use Lavasoft's Adaware and also CCleaner from I dunno who, but it's easily googled, though it does wipe your cookies and saved passwords unless you tell it not to.
