Ive just reinstalled my OS and i got so far and realised that everytime i played any movie file whether in wmplayer or winamp it basically slow my pc down to the point where it locked up ..

This basically fuked me off a tad so i started again. This time trying a movie file after each thing i traced it down to DirectX .. Basically as soon as I install DirectX 9.0c the lock ups happen..

Anyone got any ideas on wtf i need to do to sort this out coz i kinda need DirectX to run games.

it was the XP agp driver .. Id forgtton to install the SIS agp updated driver ..
