I want an mp3 player to take down the gym as the piped music is shit.

I want something that doesn't skip or jump, which presumably means a solid state thing rather than a HDD version.

Nano's seem to be very popular, but someone was telling me that on iPods you can only add music and not take it off them or something?

Can anyone recommend me a decent mp3 player and demystify them for me plz? And also if it turns out to be a Nano then I know that there are other bits of software that can be used to synch them so links to those would also be appreciated.

Thanks

Thought them ipods were riddled with Digital Rights Management bollocks. Basically means u gotta download the tunes from iTunes and only from iTunes?

Just any random cheap ass mp3 player should do really, or get a proper phone and use that for mp3 player :?

Never really bothered with em tho.

listening to mp3's on my phone always seems a bit pikey for some reason.

This one looks more like what I want

Supports lots of file types and has a good battery life.

Microdirect had 4Gb Nano's on sale this weekend for £129, I was weak and bought one.

Just searching for some good podcasts now, got the PC Gamer one which I quite enjoyed.
