ok i've had uber screen flicker on EvE (not very offerten but ocasionally)
And my uni will vanish for a 1/10 of a second (just bits of it).
And im getting stuff like this and this.otehr things aswell but these seems the main ones.
But other times it will run 100% normal.

Im running duel moniter off a single 7900
Main - 1280 x 1024
2nd - 1024 x 768

Both eve and WoW are running on the main in window moad.
Drives are upto date (have tired several versions)
And updated anything i can think of.
Anyone got any ideas.. or is it yet another dead gfx card?

I think its EVE servers that are causing the 1 second glithes mate, I got the stops fairly regularly. Although it does seem to be a little better reacently.

As for WoW, its possible that your gfx drivers are too up to date, & not yet supported by WoW. I seem to remember getting trippy glitches like that when the drivers were too advanced & had to revert to older until they got round to bringing the game up to date.

Go to PC World or Dixons and buy a pre-built PC like Vegas does. You seem to have far too many PC problems to be trusted to fix them yourself

Its the wow ui that dose the vanishing act.. eve is more like an all screen explosion, only way I’ve found to fix (or stop for a short time) is to change the settings so the screen fully vanishes and reloads.

lol, my 1st semi build was great till the 6800 went pop, then a dodgy mobo and its just been bad since then... (and yes that mobo is still working and running ok now though, which is annoying)
and yes i'm getting someone to build one with me or getting one end of the year ish.. just need this feker to hold out till then

Is the card's fan and or heatsink clean? Does this occur as soon as you switch the PC on or after it's been running and playing a while?
