Doesn't need bells and whistles. Just needs to work with games without faffing around with port forwarding, etc. Cheap is good. Cheap but slow and unreliable isn't. If you have any definite models not to go for, please post.

http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/48546 is the one I got for my sister's house. Cheap as cheaps and does the job but depends on the range I guess, it had some signal issues going from the top floor of the house to the bottom room on the other side of the house.

Kids innit. Went to bed a 10pm coz absolutely knackered. Got woken up at 2am and didn't feel tired enough to go back to sleep. Ready to run the gauntlet again tonight.

Bought this refurbished router on ebay.

Yeah so my new MIMO router is nice and all that, apart from the fact that when my pc is hardwired to it, instead of directly to the cable modem, the throughput drops from 18000kb/s+ to around 5000 - 8000kb/s. Wank! :evil:

Oh and wireless is no better. :(
