ok, anyone know a good site for muisc..
I'm clueless on these as ive always been against them, but i need to replace a load of music asap.
Till i can pick it all up on cd again.

Most the sites i found seemed to have a lot of people looking but non with albums..
So im hoping one of u guys knows a good one..
or general advise on whats best to download, albums, single tracks?
I'm using Bitcomet..
but feel free to point me at other programs if thier better.

Were talking Halo, NiN, blink182, to think of hte more obvious ones.

Not Torrent based, but I've always found Soulseek to be good. Never had any dogy files from it and it's great for finding live / rare stuff.

I use miniova

I like it becuase you can look through large lists of music & albums & song availble & see torrents that have loads of seeds for fast download.

Also if you like a band but know much of thier stuff you can usually download a disography... which I do a lot, fans often make them up from all of their released EPs, CDs, singles, live, & rare stuff.

I got every album Helmet, Foo Fighters, Tool, Metalica, Queens of the Stone Age, Korn, Radiohead, Beatles, etc by downloading them. Then I just listen & see what I want to burn to disc & keep.

I use Alt.binz newsreader and various websites (trans : google) to find the albums that stuff is on...Never fail to get maximum rate and alt.binz is a much overlooked but quite brilliant search and download tool for newsgroups. It tends to give you full albums rather than singles but that imo is just better anyway.

I used to like Isohunt but I went there the other day and it told me to bugger off as I was in the US and the coppers would arrest me if I used their torrents

To be honest the greatest site for music is Oink, you need to be a member though and you also got to seed what you download otherwise you will get kicked.

All high quality rips with full track lists and covers on all albums as a rule.

My ratio has just dropped below the level I need to be at to give out invites, once it gets back up I will gladly invite.

And you WILL invite me first. Or I'll go postal on your ass. Seriously, I need a good music tracker, and I need high quality rips as well. Album covers? Not as necessary, but definitely a bonus.

Well I saw Nat on MSN last night and he was listening to Avril. Cal no longer has the worst musical taste on the forum, but that's no cause for celebration cos he's still ginger.
