Finally ditched my old 19 and 17 dual monitor set up and treated myself to a nice new shiny 24" iiyama.



So far I'm impressed, EVE looks like a different game in widescreen and it's great fun in TF2.

Thought I would post as I know a couple of guys have been sniffing about for new monitors.

what gfx card are you using to get a decent gaming resolution on that

Was one of the ones I looked at, is an amazing monitor..
I think it ended up 3rd on my list though what came 2nd i cant remember..

Use the widescreen option on eve on that monitor, game looks even more amazing imo.

I went back to iiyama as I've had them in the past and the power button broke in the last month of a 3 year warranty and they replaced it in under 24 hours no quibble.

Got a good review in PC Plus but there has been a stock shortage so I grabbed it as soon as they came back in stock at microdirect.

Should sit nicely with my new box when I upgrade in the new year, trying to hold off on the upgrade until WAR comes out though.

That is a gorgeous monitor though. I use a widscreen Tv though I cant get the uber crispness... Must save my pennies to upgrade.

Hmmm .. i currently got a 22" wide LCD and a 19" CRT. Looking to ditch the CRT tbh, i could run with a 24" main and 22" secondary setup

They've been out of stock for a while at all UK stockists and Microdirect got 10 delivered this week so I grabbed on while I could.

Happy with it so far, great for what I use it for, couldn't comment about colour matching etc for GFX work, but at the price it's quite tidy.
