Been using 3Dmark06 to benchmark new machine with AGP 1600pro ati card tests run fine board supports pci-e too so got 1950pro card and benchmarked all ok small tweak later and 3Dmark fails with you need shader 2.0 or higher.Have returned it to stock configs same error ,refitted 1600pro and will benchmark ok.Error appears only with pci-e cards RMA'd original in case was doa and replacement is same .Directx diag reports no issues ,re-install of 3dmark same error .Next step a reinstall of xp inless anyone can suggest a fix ?

shader issue relates to ATI2DVAG issue which I cant find fix for
driver turns the frills off ie shaders will run if turned back on but pc crashes upto 15 times / hour while surfing

more unstable when pics take a while to load ie aa route planner ok unless you need a map

if any have seen and fixed this issue plz post have tried most items posted on forums but there are many "vendors " offering a fix for fee .

Yes m8 thats the one,sadly that fix didn't work my pc was loaded as agp gfx but now have pcie so agp -pci bridge thing should not be issue
Gonna do full install with only pcie card in see if its a prob with redundant elements of driver.
