Ok I keep getting some sort of crash, means I cant save anything once this breaks and the IExplorer looks like the old classic not the shiny vista version.
No increase in cpu or ram load that I can see when it happens.
Some programs take and age to open, but not all most react like normal.

I’ve uninstalled all the windows updates since the problem started including some security ones, still having the issue obviously.

oh pc will not shut down after, I have to force it to, it just hangs on the logoff screen.

You'd manage to fuck up an etch-a-sketch if someone trusted you with one. When did this start, what are you doing when it happens, nothing at all had just updated? Not even anti-virus or firewall stuff? Only issue I've had with Vista so far, apart from it's utter shitness and the statement that the service pack will break a lot more old apps, was from Zone Alarms though that caused blue screening for me and I fixed it by getting rid of it

heh i've had a few issues, my Gfx drivers crashing, then crashing again and blue screening me..

And yes it was about an hour after a windows update.
I removed that update but the issue is still thier.

I've put the updates back on but its not happend again yet,
though it decided it would turn itlsef on 3x last night.
And refused to switch off..

But all the issues started around that 1 windows update.
