After a month of shouting at Virgin media I finally have a working, and stable, internet connection, and 2 months free subscription for the inconvenience, which I am very happy about, really cant complain about their customer service tbh.
BUT...
The firmware on my router needs an upgrade and seems to be causing latency on the odd occassion, not a massive issue, but Id like to get it sorted.
Ive downloaded the upgrade from Netgear, tried to upload it to the router, but everytime I try it tells me that its the incorrect file type, Ive tried downloading it automatically from the updater on the router itself and also tried downloading it direct from the website. Neither way can I get it to work, I dont know if Im doing it wrong.
Does anyone know what I can try to get it to work?
