It's quite funny to see SWG in a worse shape that it was in early beta, but hey-ho, i'm giving it a shot on TC6 now and then and will check out the live version on the 15th (snigger) to see just how many bugs they haven't fixed yet.
This is like WoW in 1992. I don't think the devs have any idea how to make a good game.
The UI is useless. Have I pressed a button? I've no idea due to lag.
The combat doesnt work, NPCs run through all terrain, boxes and stuff and you cant.
Combat for melee is pointess against something shooting you as you cant catch them up.
You can't keep a target, you have to 'aim' in their general direction.
The very original june 2003 sit/stand bug IS BACK IN!! after it was removed a year ago.
The running animations are stupid, the movement speed is about 50% faster than it should be.
Can only rebind a handful of keys.
On the plus side there's alot of quests, most dont work though, and theres no reason to do them but you have to. Theres just a feeling that you have no idea why you're doing these quests, they have no goal, no apparent structure, storyline etc. I have to fix the Falcon, so i obviously need to kill sycks to get to the power wotsits. Of course.
You'd have thought CL80 han solo could just go get the shit himself. A huge feeling of doing quests as the npcs are too lazy to do them themselves. You get treat like an office gimp even though you're a jedi.
I will rant more as i probably need to review this shit soon.
