Quite a few links about htis rumour. Nothing official or anything, but interesting if Bioware's MMO is KOTR based....

Not sure whether this is rumour, it was kicking about around 6 months ago. Not sure about a KoToR online, its an ok game, but could suffer a lot from the kids. Asides, as it stands the current SWG is turning more & more like KoToR every day. The recent chapter (8) upgrades space quite a lot, so you can dust of yer tie fighting/x-wing skills & blast away.

The big downside to SWG atm is not the lack of population, you can find people if you go looking for them, & stay easily away if you don't. The problem is that there are still far too many ghost towns, of people who quit.

You zip though the fantastic countryside on yer speeder bike & come across a large city, its well built lots of houses & amenities, then you realise that none of the poeple who built it still play the game. They should just pack up every house on every server into the characters inventory, then when they log in they can replace it. It would make the game feel more expansive again, & give less of an inpression of there being a dead population.
