Ide like to know what everybody in the guild is up to hunt / pvp raid wise. To get a good view on it please post a bit like this:


Highn Farcaging:

4003 Artisan
0040 Commando
1000 Medic
4333 Brawler
0003 Armorsmith

Pro's PvE wise: Does quite a bit of damage, nasty DOT attack.
Con's PvE wise: Needs to get buffed before hunting (migrated all my stats to mind).

Pro's PvP wise: Does quite a bit of damage, nasty DOT attack.
Con's PvP wise: No defenses, needs buffs to be good, not master brawler yet, so cant lunge2 warcry. Doesnt own a set of composite yet.

Plan's for the future: Either Master Armorsmith and 0040 Commando (or master Rifleman, they seem a lot better in pvp). OR Master BH, 0043 Pistoleer. (to kill whiney jedis, and i really like roleplaying a big mouthed Mon Calamari sneaky git).

Hunts / PvPing: I'de like to go hunting big things together, as i think most of my qualities lie there atm. If we as a guild decide to get really tough as pvp guild ill probably go master Rifleman, although theyre crap close range. If we go hunting I want to hunt for loot, hunting for exp seems not to work... We could hunt for someone else each week.

(dushy) Going for master combat medic, goeie sjit. And good for doctor buffs, and some carbineering on the side. When i got more time to play i'll organize some bigg hunting parties. Stay tuned :)

If you wanna go Pistoleer try to fill the Pistol Techniques tree first before you spend any pistol xp on other trees. Once the Techniques tree is filled you have stopping shot and fan shot. Those two specials are really great and give you much quicker and more pistol xp to fill the other trees.

I seriously can't see the appeal of being a pistoleer :? I'm pretty sure that if you tried pretty much any other combat class you wouldn't even consider going back to it. The reason I dropped it so fast was because I'd done TKM before hand and know full well how much power you're supposed to have, as a master pistoleer I got my ass handed to me by klikniks whilst fully buffed, where as now I'm a novice swordsman I'm taking groups of pikets down in seconds.

Seriously, I guess I just like guns. In every other game I played they are always my favourite.

Nice gun though, but yes pistoleer sucks, and I wish u had let me know that u werent holding onto smuggler, or i wouldnt of dropped it. But ive dropped all of the slicing tree now and cba to do it all again, plus the guild probably needs an armoursmith more.

Oh well, I'll hold onto smuggler in that case and might drop pistoleer to do something else. I've been Master Pistoleer/Master Ranger for about three weeks and it's hard to keep the game interesting if you can't earn any XP to learn a profession.

About the gun. I have a gun that says it is created by Vehas. Sometimes a gun seems to take the name of the player who sliced it. Anyway, it's all in this post on the official forums:

Questions about if this gun is legit are raised in this post, but there is also a weaponsmith posting a picture of a gun slightly less powerful he made himself.

Nah, the reason the gun says it's made by vehas is that the factory it was made in was on vehas' lots. There's spice around made by Beans and god knows how much Boooooze.

the beans made spice doesnt sell so good.


And luke dont hold onto smuggler if u find u dont like it..Im just not very good with change :P

tbh the only thing i enjoyed in the end with it was slicing for people. Spice is a dead market now, and as for selling faction points *snarf*

Gonna bite the bullet soon and drop all of Doc and Medic, I'm pretty convinced now that my silent profession is a hybrid and all of them mean dropping Doc so I may as well work on a few of them at the same time rather than do one. I've enjoyed being a doc simply because of the crafting and hunting ablitliy of it so I'm 99.9% sure I'm going to return as a master Doc master swordsman once I unlock. There's only 1 hybrid I can do without dropping Doc and that's the one I'm going for once I've finished musician, Master Bio-Eng. Then it'll be a case of doing commando and smuggler together so I don't have to do unarmed 4 more than once more, then Bounty hunter as I'll have the marksman still, then it's Squad Leader yay. By the time I get to that I'd have either unlocked, they change the system or I've died all seem preferable to leading a bunch of tossers to their deaths.
