It seems a situation has arisen that requires the guild or city to make a decision.

I've been contacted by a guy that goes by the name Warchak. He has set up a tent as per Xui's instructions.

However Vehas is supposedly unhappy with that arrangement and Warchak is now reconsidering whether or not to have a tent in our city.

I promised him that Id bring up this issue so we can reach an agreement as to who is and who isnt allowed to place tents in our city.

So if we dont already have any rules regerding this kind of situation I suggest we hear some pros and cons and general opinions and reach an agreement/take a vote to clarify this matter.

He's had it explained to him why he should move his tent but he obviously hasn't bothered to tell you those reasons and just decided to whine to you instead. The reasons are as follows:

1. The space near the banks was reserved for Thix's tent to be placed there, as he's been a member of the PA and supplied many of us with our structure and harvesters he clearly gets priority.

2. This Warchak/Warfish fella isn't a declared resident of the city so unless he declares he doesn't get to sell from our city anyways.

3. He's in an Imperial guild, though he claims not to be imperial himself we can't actually tell, chances are he could be a second account of an imperial player or just be a covert imperial but as he plans on selling items his friends make it inevitably means an imperial will be running around our city and raking in cash from it.

We never said we didn't want him in the city and have given him a cahnce to move his tent rather than simply tell him to get out and we were waiting to speak to Xui as we believe it was him that gave him zoning rights, but if this fella wants to whinge and moan then then he can bugger off, it's no loss to us as he's not a citizen.

tbh ive had so many people mailing me /tell ing me ingame re city housing trade etc i dont know what the fuck im doing.

as far as im concerned you guys sort it out.. theres fuck all I can do as there is no power that can remove a player from a city.

I wont be logging into Xui for a while and may stand down as Mayor as tbh its pissing me off.

Problem is, he's 'neutral' apparently, in an imperial guild - and we've no reason to have imperials selling from our city. Obviously he's being an arse about moving his tent and appears to want to keep it there so Thix can't place his tent.

If anyone sees him, ask him to remove it please.

tbh its pretty shite that you cant remove an object like a house/tent from your own city and as city ban doesnt work or indeed any other form of ban/warn etc its gonna prove pretty hard to move anyone that doesnt wanna go..

If he refuses to go we can plant mines around his tent

Or whack Merchant trader tax up to the max, whack property tax to the max and send him an email informing him until he moves he is paying that much tax

Refund the tax that everyone else has to pay in the meantime

Mainly cos publish 7 will let us stick things on walls, and i want my house filled with weapons and 6 vendors all in composite with big fuck off t21s.

My happy introduction to him, started with a fuck off big tent on my porch with the sign "droid and Drug (spice) vendors coming soon."

I couldnt give him a /tell as he was offline and was a bit pissed off that my business was suddenly being threatened by some "nobody" that i changed my house title to

as a simple yet crude message for him to contact me.

Anyway upon my return from 2 days at work today I find his tent name has changed to something along the lines of

"Droid vendor coming soon, once beaurocratic conflict sorted" or some bullshit.

So i of course being mature rename my house to

"Sarcasm will get you everywhere fatty" Harmless, and in no way directed to him


Anyway this evening i get threatened by him that he will report me for harrasement over my house names....


Did i see his name mentioned in the 2nd one or is his christian name Fatty?

If he's still there by the time I've finished Image designer I'll go Droid engineer and put him out of business before he even starts. I don't need to make a profit off them so I can sell em reet cheap

Of course if sorted means he's buggered off then balls to it, I'm not grinding droid engi for owt :p

Also the whole bit about obviously needing a droid engi, why do we? They're a one off purchase and not particularly useful, just like most professions it's nice to have one around once in a while but certainly not a requirement.

ok as a n00b i wish to ask a few questions......

No-one can place a building or tent in our city without being granted zoning rights?

If they have been granted zoning rights and we city ban them can we not then move their building?

Can we not revoke zoning rights, thus destroying the tent?

If we can't forceably move the building doesn't this leave a major flaw in the system whereby if you kick a guildmember out for being a cock he can still live in the city quite happily and there's naff all you can do about his building?

afaik theres no way to forcably remove someones building from a city.

city ban dont work (it was removed due to miss use) so tbh if someone puts something down in a city even the mayor is powerless to remove it.

he is no bother now.. thix has admin and possesion of the tent and can therefore redeed if the guy causes any more probs which tbh i doubt he will

there may be no need for droids atm but P7 has a big droid revamp instore so it may be an idea to let him keep the vendor there.. im sure we can then sort a nice price for new droids if needed.. also droids sell for a fair amount of cash and we get a 20% cut of the sale already.
