You guys have probably already noticed this but ill stick a post in here anyway.

I was getting pissed off with what seemed to be a poor side arm for the medic . Until i started looking into it a bit. Ive found that the gun actually hits down and right of the crosshair. This applies to any range the actual offset appears the same. Since finding this and trying to adjust where im pointing the crosshair on screen in relation to the target i can now actually kill people with the damn thing. Although imo compared to all the other classes sidearms it is still way underpowered.

Offset seems more to the right for me. It's underpowered compared to the rest but on the other hand, you're supposed to be in a medical profession helping people rather then lobbing pointy objects at their eyeballs.

I agree with u on the healing part Kuif but it would be nice to stand a chance in a 1 on 1 or 2 on 1 rather than know youll more than likely getwtfpwned coz of an underpowered sidearm. Suppose on a plus side its suprising the amount of 1 hit kills you can get with the medical saw

You start off with a little more HP than the other lighter classes and it does regen quicker as a bonus though.

Or at least that's the way it was in the original.

Engineer is my fav :p Got the knack at picking some great spots now as well for defence and offence.

It's definitely a weapon of opportunity - it doesn't do much damage per shot, but it's very fast firing, has tons of ammo and can mess up most classes if you ambush them when they think you're busy healing.

As to the aim - the needles are quite heavy, it kinda just spits them out so they drop quite a bit - gotta get used to it for close-range defense, but it's quite good for picking off a sniper or whoever on top of a crate where line of sight blocks them seeing you, but you can drop needles over the edge and get them.

All i was saying when i posted really was that if u work out the offset you can hit your target pretty much most of the time. Had a few good moments after learning that and was able to heal and kill at the same time..

Best was 3 kills in 1 life .. Although the most fun i had as medic was as middle man in a heavy , medic , medic trio
