Swg is getting dull, and i need a new game.. Though Daoc did nothing for me, im willing to try another fantasy game..

So quite frankily. Is Eq2 another 2 week wonder? or can you guys see it being worth the £25+ to buy. I need a quick response coz I can still nip to Pc world tonight and get it if you give it the thumbs up!

Also Can my machine handle it?

I think that atm having played it less than a week, it will be more than a 2 week wonder. Unsure if I will be playing it once WoW is released, who knows, I'm enjoying it, but then I always do when exploring these games for the first time before the grind sets in.

One word of warning will be that for all the bells and whistles to be enabled GFX wise you need a big machine and most people with <1.0Gb ram get lag in busy city zones.

I'm enjoying it, but I hated SWG and loved DAoC so probably not the best person to offer you my opinion as we're quite different when it comes to games.

I'll echo what Neil said !

I just watched the Onyxia_Air video and it was less than impressive. The dragon looks shit for its size, and absolutely nothing like that almost-CGI one they were pimping in their teaser videos.

Ofc that says nothing for the gameplay.
