Should we start a Guild?

Any name suggestions?

We need 60 silver apparently which we should easily be able to get together now.

Any thoughts?

If we start a guild it should have a suitably cheesy name

and it should be just something to give us a channel to chat in imo, I don't know what you can do with some guild commands but lets not get too carried away like we did in swg and end up with something that grows beyond our ability to support it.

I also think we should limit it to us so we tell people it's rl friends of ours only.,

With groups being limited to 6 in size we'll need around 12 members imo to give maximum chances of grouping for everyone at peak hours

I am thinking I'll go Druid Warden rather than Fury now - they're slightly more defensive in nature than furies who concentrate more on offense which might help us more.

I agree completely with Goose. Should be just a small private guild for us lot.

Yeah, i dont want to get into the whole invite anyone business again. It can just fuck up the entire guild at times. We had enough problems with nobs in SWG and Neocron.

I made a load of cash from those quests last night so i can chip in a fair bit after i've got my spells to app3. Probably around 20-30 silver.

Anyone thought of any names?

I think that we should create a guild and I think that I would prefer it with just us lot, although we got in deep on NC because some idiots PK'd with no thought.

My understanding is that certain quests can only be gotten and carried out by guilds so I would hope for a little more than just a convenient chat channel.

I agree that the name should be an amusing or non RPG name, I don't want a RPG name flying over my head.

Suggestions from me for names include (in no particular order and I know some are bad, but I am having a proper brain fart at thinking of names.)

Probably try and think of some more, but my favourite name would have to be simply calling the guild either "Ska" or "Madness".

I must admit I don't care what we call the guild, just that we have one and group on comms regularly.

Last night we invite a shaman into the group who immediately types

" I AM HEALER PLZ"

I wondered whether inviting him was a mistake but we got on fairly well once I reminded him that I was 3 levels higher and also a healer...

so we wander into the wailing caves and grab our shards at which point he goes afk and almost gets us killed. As it is I get scragged keeping him alive while he is afk and then he comes back and heals Triggs and fish without even realising it was HIS afk that got me killed complete with " I was back just in time comment"

Personally I really want to put a ban on anyone under level 30 who we don't know REALLY well being invited. At the moment the fucktard quotient is simply too high for any other policy.
