Guild Creation

1. Find a Guildmaster NPC in any of the major cities.
2. Acquire a Guild Charter from the Guildmaster.
3. Add 9 other people to the Guild Charter.
4. Return the Guild Charter to any Guildmaster.
5. You now have a guild!

Ok thoughts on this.....

I'm not talking about creating a guild to make a serious guild. I am talking about creating a guild so we can design a cool guild tabard and wear it.

With this in mind I thought we could sit down and design a few tabards and then pick a name and create the guildi. we only need 9 names + deltah as guild leader then we can wear our funky tabard with cool design

I have no intentions of us growing this guild or opening recruitment to non ging's - other than people personally known to us irl

I know a rake of us are in the unforgiven, and again this is not setup to replace or take people from there, I simply want to wear a cool tabard and this is the easiest way to do that without applying to strange wierd internet people that I don't know.

I'm gonna stay in Unforgiven but I spend more time taking notice of /cybergings than /g anyway. Join The Unforgiven and have a Cybergings secret society sub guild

The upside is that you won't have to pay 10g to create guild.
The downside is that you'll have a shite tabard.

How about getting Bjorn Ugly going again?? The names fits well with Horde methinks. Not geeky enough to know how to upload a screeny of the tabard I went for so you'll just have to trust me that its great.


EDIT: The thought of joining The Unforgiven fills me with dread. Will I have to be nominated and seconded and thirded and have to suck up to get in??? Forget it.

Is there any benefit to being in a guild? So far the people I play with seem to get nothing but hassle from the guilds. They want money to change the tabbard every few minutes, they want them to go on raids in the middle of nowhere so when they die they have a long run to their bodies as taking healers with them seems like too much hassle. The only benefit I can see is not having people constantly inviting you to join their guild, which I can live with for now though I suspect the more I level the more people will try and invite.

I find it drops off as you get higher as the fucktard kiddy quotient has reduced.

Tbh I don't want to join a random guild. I was hoping to start a cybergings guild whilst unforgiven have closed recruitment.

They have never responded to my 'jumping in the queue' post in the recruitment thread and I got a 'we're closed to recruitment' response when I pm'ed wend to chat about it.

Not really fussed about joining the unforgiven I just want a tabard. I think the current one for the unforgiven is a bit shit too I'd prefer to start a guild with delts et al and design our own tabard as I can chat to the people who i enjoy chatting too in cybergings anyway.

All the people I play with are in the same guild but we're all on comms together and seem to do all our instances together and stuff, I even have a tabbard as I bought one to see if I could, nice and plain To me it's like being in a small guild but with none of the hassles of strangers or recruiting, we give each other stuff that we need or find, PvP together and have comms so no need for a chat channel. All the pleasure of a guild without any of the hassle.
