I think we now need to use the time when we're not doing onyxia or MC to hammer aq20 down.

We ALL need skill books for our characters - If we can get our rogues the eviscerate books then they will hit even harder which means we can get further, quicker :)

I propose that next window we do Kurinaxx and Rajaxx then go straight to Ayamiss - I know the adds are hellish to fight but we need to get all three 'optional' bosses down regularly to have confidence taking Ossiran.

We're also going to be improving our rep with both Cenarion Circle and Brood of Noxdomo setting us up very nicely for AQ40 in the distant future.

Well done gwenneth and everyone else who joined us

M

Evis book drops in UBRS fatty. At a ridiculously low drop rate.

Agree however, AQ needs to be hit harder.

Won't the books be obsolete once BC is here? Or do you need the books first before you can get any further training while levelling to 70?

I think they're obsolete once you hit level 68.....

personally I can tell you that my damage output has risen significantly since i got the rank 10 shadowbolt.

Eviscerate isn't a big part of a rogue's damage, though - so not getting it doesn't mean much. Quite like the Backstab and Feint books.

You should always be able to get a 5 point Evis off after you've hit a 5 point S&D.

Depends on your spec - daggers have a much harder time with that:
30 seconds = 15 ticks = 300 energy = 5 backstabs, if none misses.
For swords, however, it's much easier:
300 energy = 7.5 Sinister Strikes, giving you plenty of time to do an Evisc, then an SS and then, usually just as SnD is running out, renew SnD for 2-3 combo points, giving you enough time to build up towards 5pt SnD again.

That is, of course, as long as *no* Sinister Strikes or Backstabs misses (that is - dodge, block, parry. You always have a 5.6% chance of dodge when attacking from behind, and although they shouldn't be able to block/parry attacks from behind they still do that occassionally.)

You'll have no time for Eviscerate if you're a combat daggers rogue, really :P Especially considering Relentless Strike is royally bugged and only give you a combo point every now and then, instead of 100% of the time as it should do on a 5pt finishing move.

If you're willing to burn thistle tea you can manage to get in an Eviscerate, tho :P

This doesn't, obviously, apply to Seal Fate dagger rogues, which should probably be able to get in 1½ 5pt Eviscerates if they have good enough gear.

Relentless strikes has a 60% chance (CP independant) to add a CP with 3/3 talent points. Ruthlessness is the one that is 100% chance (per 5 CP) to return 25 energy.

Relentless strikes is a huge waste of 3 points, but considering the other dross you must choose from to get up to 25 pts for Seal Fate, its the better of a bad bunch.

Ruthlessness 3/3:
Gives your finishing moves 60% chance to add a combo point to your target.

Ruthlessness is a huge waste of points, Relentless Strikes is one of the best talents we have.

Personally I can never recall which is which, and didn't even know Ruthlessness was only a 60% chance. :P Ah well, everything else is still true.

Ah, forgot you were daggers.

No problem at all with Swords. Swords takes away the tatical thinking from playing a rogue, which is the main downside for me.

Felt like a true challenge when I was dagger built, especially the PvP side of the game 8)
