It ain't working guys ,we have had success with casual Kara with upto 3 runs in a week yet with a big drop in numbers idea was rather than have people repeatedly logging hoping for Kara to set a date and people sign up.Last weeks sign-ups were fine the attendance however was good on day 1 but so patchy on day 2 that it was impossible to continue either raid.We currently lack tanks prepared to do Kara which in turn means we lack people with sufficient gear to go beyond Kara. It is a game and should be fun
but for many if not all fun stops when we sit around hoping for something to happen.Proposal is to revert to the casual raid no dates but this means many people will potentially miss the bosses they need
A variation on this may be that at the end of a raid a vote is taken on the day to proceed and the most votes wins (ideally no more than 2 days from day 1).This may get more runs completed and mean we get a 2nd successful run instead of the current situation of tuesday last day of the week with 2 part done Kara's and a few tied to pug's.
I would hope to move beyond Kara as we used to ,but current dps / heal/tanking can be so varied that we even struggle with Kara.If there is a good food for your class bring it a pot to use have it an oil etc etc....you know if you are doing your best or not but if we can't up our game and put Kara back on easy farm we wont see other places.People who have or are good tanks please be prepared to bring them atm there are a few people who always sacrifice what they want to enable a run to happen.I will back this up by trying to improve my tanking so I can at least off-tank without looking a noob
So if any tank wants to bring an alt and take the pee out of me please say in guild and I will bring death and destruction to you
