I imagine that everyone is well aware by now, but for those who dont, Zavvi is amazing at the moment (not for the poor staff though...) I just went into town and managed to pick up season one and two of House for £20 from zavvi, everything in the store is 20% off the marked price, and most of the films have been knocked down to between £3.99 and £6.99 the new releases are at the normal price, but still with 20% off.

Just to let anyone know who was thinking of buying some DVDs or CDs or anything really. There are some great deals in there atm.

aye ive had a look and some decent stuff in there, problem is it doesnt seemed to have affected their game stock

Nah, I went down htere just to try and get left 4 dead cheap but its still on sale for £35, no wonder they didnt do very well! Some of hte stuff it has affected though, but mostly the older titles. I did have a look at the 80gb ps3's for 269 and thought that was a decent price, if only I had the money

How long have they been around? First I'd heard of them was when it was in the news they were closing down. I've only been out the country 17 months ffs.

They took over Virgin megastores at the start of summer, I think they were linked to Woolies or something and it might be because of that. Not really sure though. Theyve been about less than a year though afaik.

He sold them the business for a quid and they fucked it up? Jesus Christ haven't they ever heard the phrase "Don't keep all your eggs in one basket"?

It does make you wonder really. Seems like a lot of the directors in this country dont really know how to run a business at the moment, every single day there seems to be another company going down, bad times all round.
