Not really bothered with consoles but thought I might invest. As usual I will rely on your opinions, rather than do my own investigations and weighing up.
What are the pros and cons of each please?

The last 4 consoles I've had just gathered dust but I'd say now the PS3 has the wand thing that the Wii has nothing more to offer. Never liked Xbox and think Halo is shit.

My Wii was fun for 10 minutes, and it is fun when you have mates or family round, but it doesn't get a lot of play. I think it's really good for family fun though, easy for kids and grannys to enjoy as well as everyone else.

It's the only console I have though (apart from a PS2 that lives at my parents house) so cant comment on the others. I thought about a PS3 for the BlueRay thing but consoles only work for certain types of game in my view so haven't bothered.

They're all shit.

The wii is a kiddie console; fun for the novelty but otherthan that the games aren't for mature players. My 360 is gathering dust, really don't see much point in keeping it but it's not worth any money either, and tge ps3 doesn't have any interesting games afaik

Agree with the others. Kids play the Wii a lot but I only join in occasionally.
Last two consoles before that were original xbox and playstation.
Hate console controllers tbh.

Agree with what everyone has said about the Wii, its good fun, but its really a party console, not a proper gaming machine.

If you really want one, Id go for the ps3, Xbox is just a pc with a pad, you can get the same games on the pc and they generally play better.

The ps3 has the bluray player, a nicer interface and a much nicer pad. The games are in better quality HD too as the xbox just downscales everything. Ive found the ps3 is a more serious gaming console, the games are really good and well made, stuff like Heavy Rain, FF13, Little Big Planet and Uncharted make it well worth getting. I dont play mine a great deal, just when I fancy a game whilst relaxing on the sofa rather than sitting at a desk on the pc.

360 - Crackdown 2

Both are good for FIFA online as well

Wii only really gets played by my son, he loves Mario Kart. I've just started getting into God Of War 3 and I'm quite enjoying it, I've got a Demon's Souls sat waiting for me to play as well which is supposed to be mint and only available on the PS3...
