Took a few hours to get past the EA shell (it needed patching 1 day after release) and into the game itself, but after about 3 hours I got a bit stuck in to it - the Titan mode really gives the game more scope than just holding control points.

Battlewalkers are as good as I was expecting, if a little underarmed against much more than a jeep. Stomp stomp stomp.

Slightly nicer upgrade system too - rather than unlocking a better version of the class you play most, you rank up and get a point per rank to unlock one thing from any class, or universal benefits like grenades or extra sprint time.

Drop Pods rock - had some sniper pinned down in an APC, but couldn't get him in sight, so I switched positions, launched in a pod and landed on his head!

Bought this coz brother in law is playing it. 'Tis quite fun but effing frustrating when playing against the leet clans. I like the idea of starting out as a noob with only basic equipment then getting a few unlock bonuses, which help, as you progress. Almost like a RPG. It's great when you chuck a frag grenade in a building on the offchance and finding 5 people were huddled round it.
