I got myself a 360 the other week and it really is the bollocks. I've been living on live. Ghost recon and Battlefield 2 (only the demo at the moment HURRY UP THE 14th!!!!).

Anyone else got one of these amazing bits of kit?

Nah I'm a cheapskate, whenever I buy a console I always find that it's the dogs bollocks for the first couple of weeks, then find myself not using it again as I always end up back on the PC tbh.

I genuinely cannot understand why anyone with a PC would want to play a FPS on a console tbh.

Consoles are for beat em ups and sports sims, nowt else.

Aye, that's about the long and short of it tbh, bit of soul caliber and a dabble on Burnout is about all my consoles get used for really.

With the exception of handheld consoles though, I use these more than proper consoles.

First off, Ps3 is gunna be a 450 quid waste of space that you cant do half of the things the xbox does..... and what if Blueray doesnt win the big dvd war?

Also I used to say the same thing about fps's but now I've totally changed my mind. BF2 is suited to the console sooooo much better.... really it is.

I'd take you on any day, any MP FPS, mouse vs joypad tbh..

And that's quite a brave challenge on my part as I am hopeless at FPS's now, I find myself winding the difficulty to normal when I install a new one now

Thats quite a good idea for a little challenge actually, the the wireless charging kit on the gamepads are USB so I would imagine I could get it working on here.....

Got it too and combined with HDTV is pretty fuckin' nice.

Now playing Ghost Recon AW with friends online and that's pretty sweet.

I must admit I thought that HDTV was a bit of a gimmick, but once you see it running with a 360 attached to it, the difference in picture quality is amazing.

If the 360 drops in price I'm considering exchanging it for my old PS2, which i mostly use as DVD player atm.

Wait until tv programs will be broadcasted in HD too.

Not all channels here are in HD but still quite a few and more coming up very soon, especially sports and movies are pretty cool to watch now.

I'ts quite an improvement if i may say.

Oh and get Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, it simply rocks.

I'm not on the 'live' yet, just moved and got to re-arrange some cables yet which i don't feel like doing since i have wireless internet. We're playing GRAW most of the time at my friends house, he does have a big ass 72 inch tv screen so most of the time we're 'co-opping'.

He owns a projector too, when the weather is nice we're playing outside on his garagedoors. lol

TopSpin2 with 4 people MP local is quite entertaining too.

How does a projector perform on a 'nice' day? I thought projs and rear view TVS were for dark and dingy areas. You in the shade or something?

It won't do any good on a sunny day I guess but when you start at 9pm its ok.

Gotta bring a big ass fly swatter for the mosquitos though.

And yes, there are a load of trees here so finding a nice shady spot won't be too hard.

Well i bought a 360 a few months back and found it rather dissapointing =( So now i'm gonna wait for the Wii ( snigger ). Not for the graphics but for the gaming experience. I have a DS and a PSP too and only play my DS cos the PSP sucks! sorry guys but it does xD Go Nintendo!
