Why did you make goose?

btw its out on the 10th with a key for the beta and a key for the retail which gets you on the servers 3 days before the peons.

sometimes i think it might be true that ppl who play mmo's a lot start to detach themselves from the real world and become submersed in the fantasy world...i worry about u guys, really i do :/

Tried DnD, spent several hours and I didnt even get 1 lvl or rank.. quite depressing imo, one should be able to do at leats a few lvls on first logon, juz to get the spirit

Instead I juz kept dying :cry:

Did remind me of EQ too.. altho I didn't play that more then 1 or 2 weeks.

So what was the verdict on this game, from the people who tried it? I've only read a couple of reviews. It appears that it's nigh on impossible to level solo and that you only gain xp from quests, not killing mobs. Apparently the quests are instanced. Not sure if I like the sound of that or not (get quest, go do instance, come back, rinse & repeat until bored (possibly)).
Anyway... did anyone play it for any decent length of time to establish if it was half-decent or not?

I cancelled my pre-order for DDO, from my experience on beta it just looked like I would end up being banned due to the high number of RP gamers and my general intolerance.

Cancelled my subs to RF online too, levelling isn't the most fun on your todd, so just keeping up with EVE Online atm and some other SP games, broke the 2M SP barrier on EVE yesterday and happy just popping on to run the odd mission when I can fit it in.

Kuifje has convinced me to try Auto Assault, I'm just waiting for PLAY.com to let me order it as I refuse to pay more than £20 for a game lately unless I really want to play it.

Currently on pre-order for me are Spellforce 2 and Morrowind Oblivion.

roll on Oblivion on the 360.

....D&D was too beardy for me and currently I have a beard.

Not sure on Auto Assault, had it installed but everytime the beta was accessable I was at work or out. Think I'll wait for Warhammer.
