Yarr all is well. Went to buy a DS today but theyre sold out. Same as last week and the week before. Theres more bloody models being built for the West than themselves. Meh.

I got one a couple of weeks ago, couldn't be arsed to wait for the Lite one. Been playing Animal Crossing to try and see if there's any point at all to the game, so far nothing

Mario Kart rocks on it though

Fraid not on the bird front. My inability to score has gone international :s The land sucks atm, its constant rain due to the `rainy season` yet its still as hot as a sauna. The jobs nice though, very easy and I like most of my students. Trying to save some pennies for a lappy atm so the nightlife has taken a big hit.

I managed to get one on Sunday, the queues were feckin huge for them, and there were guys outside the store with banners and megaphones announcing the resupply. Got myself New SMB and Wario Touched. I want those brain games but theyre all in Japlish, so I`d prolly end up with an age of 12998. What language leaning games are out in English? Over here they have German/Thai/English/Chinese. Quite fancy some of those as well.

I've not really looked at the games yet as I got the New SMB too, Mario Kart, Animal Crossing (came free with the DS) and Brainage which is decent. I got mine in the US though so I can't get any new games until I go back there which was part of my cunning money saving plan. Brainage is pretty good though, so far it's pretty accurate at telling me when my brain is totally monged and the best I've got my age down to is 26, wife got hers down to 80

DS games are universal arent they? Ive played Jap and English Advance games in my DS, so I assume the actual DS games themselves are the same? No? Hope so cos I really want those brain games. Getting stoopid in my young age.

I dunno, I just assumed they'd be the usual PAL bollocks for europe etc. I know the PSP is supposed to be region free so I guess the DS could be but I'm far too skint to find out right now

Afaik Nintendos always been universal. Im sure I remember KTroopa from the RTCW forums going on about his Jap imports.

I thought that the consoles were region specific but that the handhelds are region free tbh?
