seriously, if it werent for the fact that my mac had a 330MHz proccesoer, id be on that save this piece of shit they call a "Personal Computer" that u have to throw away evry 6 monts as something is out of date n u need a new motherboard/proccesor etc.....MACS FTW!

As much as I felt your enthusiasm for Macs, ya really didn't sell it to me Daz.

I'm thinking:
Macs = One-buttoned-mouses = Photoshop-using-designer-faggots

Not to mention games get released on Macs a year after PC, and out of sympathy more than anything...

Different methodology, different way of thinking, right down to design of system architecture, OS and casing.

I say that as an avid pc and mac user. I have an ibook G4 and I love it - it runs Wow so I are the happzor with it

Bear in mind I spend most of my working day in command line so whichver computer/os I use is almost irrelevent - if it has telnet it does me

The best thing about Macs that make them so reliable is their operating system. The fact they're currently running adverts saying how they don't crash like PCs always do then they run another advert saying they can run Windows on them now too. I'd like to see statistics on how reliable they are running XP tbh compared to other PCs. I want a Mac but I'd treat it the same way I treat laptops, nice to have as an addition to a PC but certainly not as a replacement.

I have a pc and I think I've seen it crash properly about 5 times in 2 years.

People run windows on boxes that don't really have the power for it etc and blame the software when the pc can't run it.

Tbh if I were writing an OS for a possible 20 different machine combinations I'd expect it to be pretty fucking stable too

It makes me chuckle that macs who effectively have a closed system are trumpetting the fact that their software is stable. Given the lack of variables they have to account for it fucking well should be

Well the requirements for XP are stupdily low like most pieces of software, yes the system can run it but not to a point where it's deemed usable by most people.

I worked with Macs for abouta year and they crashed at least 1 time a day for me. Plus I can't stand get over the fact the mouse only has one button

Logitech all the way tbh. I loved my MS mouse but the mx500 and mx1000 have converted me, MS mice just feel wrong to me now.

it also only has two buttons and a mouse wheel - that's all I need

they are all answered, i am just shit at organising my mailbox.

thats just this month. I make month to month folders and dump all of julys for example into another folder to get them off the server. imap mailboxes are shit with a 250mb quota when i get emailed pics that are about 15mb in size
