I dont think theres cable but there could be, I never switched it on. It has a DVD player though. Theres toilets and showers in the building, and yeah they deliver anything from the dominos menu to your booth. They have free soft drinks on tap, and vending machines with fags and beer too. And beside the machines theres racks and racks of manga porn and dvds for you to peruse.


Aye he's a Jap in a Phillipino bar, they treat them like shite. That wee chick Mia loved me to bits cos I was nice to her all night. Little did she know I wanted to take her home and give her a good kicking.

Really badly tbh. I can order stuff in a restaurant and shop nps, but as soon as they respond I have to hope they didnt ask me a question because I dont have a clue what theyve said. All the chicks Ive met speak English so theres been no real motivation to try Japanese with them. And the Osmosis effect doesnt feckin work at this age

Ive committed the Hiragana alphabet to memory (about 56 symbols, but 100+ with variations) and Im working on the Katakana alphabet now which is the same as Hiragana but completely different symbols. Then I'll start on Kanji (the chinese symbols) which are a total nightmare. So I can read alot of stuff out loud, but I dont have a scobby what it means. Its just like being able to speak the German or Italian language out loud without knowing what you're saying. Ive been assured it'll all fall into place one day though, just need to work at it to make sure that day comes quicker

Though I really should buy a book instead of learning it all off the PC, I'm constantly tempted to look at websites and forums, as you can see >.<

You should get the Pimsleur Japanese speaking tapes, I have the mandarin and spanish ones they pretty decent.

Cool, I have those on mp3 I'll check them out. I downloaded so much stuff I didnt know what was good. Are the CDs supposed to come with books?

Some of the stuff I have has a pdf book with some stuff in. but the lessons are good enough to get you into the swing of understanding what is being said.

I found when I worked in Spain that I understood what was being said alot better than I could speak it. Which is better because atleast you know how to answer the question.

I got it to learn Mandarin for when I go to my Firefly conventions :p

Yeah I checked out lesson 1 last night and its not bad at all. ITs probably the perfect complement to the stuff I use for reading and writing practice.
