Gwen and me have stuff to summon one of the raid bosses in Silithus. Thanks to all who helped killing the dukes yesterday That was roguetastic!

It would be cool to get a raid together to kill one of the Abyssal Lords. It is said you need 20+ people. If possible I would rather go with 30-40 people to see what they are like, as it is either very expensive or time consuming to buy/farm the stuff you need to summon a lord. (If you dont get him down and he despawns all the stuff is wasted )

As there are 3 camps we could kill 3 lords in one session (respawn rate of the stones is 3 hours). Could do "The Calling"-quest too when we have a raid there anyway.

What do you think?

I don't think I've even started the Calling chain on any of my alts For some reason I just can't bring myself to go to Silithus. If I'm around I can help but atm I'm spending a lot of time talking to my wife, no doubt she'll get bored soon enough and I'll spend less time tabbed out

Silithus is all about farming. I used to hate this place. But as we are going to AQ more and more, we are there anyway, so you can do some field duty or silithid gathering and stuff while waiting for the actual raid to kick off. I have nearly done all of the stuff there. The only "major" thing I need is to kill 2 lords for 2 quests. One quest gives a nice ring with +19 NR and the other quest gives some random stuff like mana and health pots, resistance pots, a good amount of cash and (if lucky) a rare or epic BoE. For the quests I "just" need the quest item droped by the lords

I need some epic Sceptre thingy as well to complete a Sili quest - guess that must come from an Abyssal Lord?

each lord drops 1 sceptre

to summon 1 lord one needs 16 twilight cultists set and 9 large brilliant shards. then you kill 12 templars --> get 12 abyssal crests --> turn into 4 necklaces --> kill 3 dukes --> get 3 abyssal signets --> turn into 1 ring --> use 1 set + 1 necklace + 1 ring to summon 1 lord --> kill lord --> get 1 scepter

if you dont kill the lord you have wasted about 250g

does only 1 sceptre drop or can anyone who has the quest get one?

1 lord = 1 scepter

I suggest, whoever has the mats to summon a lord, gets the scepter. Rest of raid can roll on the rest of the loot. They drop 1 epic (70% chance) or other stuff.

Still happy to help with the Lord, but I know where he can shove his sceptre.

I gave away most of my twighlight sets yesterday - not sure I can be arsed to go farm them again.

hehe... I know you gave me at least 2 sets and 3 mantles... probably more... I will get them back for you Swifty so we can get another templar and dukes killing session going

From trying once before, the Lords are relatively straightforward bosses, unless you get the Wind one - he's evil, has a Ghaz'ranka-style knock-up aoe, just without the water to land in. Bring health pots and light feathers for safer landings!
