Just a heads up for anyone who might be interested.

Steam are currently selling the original Half Life for a grand total of $0.98! Works out at less than 50p for one of the best fps games ever made, even if the graphics look really dated now. Well worth it if you dont already have a copy.

Opposing Force was my prefered version, I'd much rather shoot people than aliens for some reason. I take it it runs well on Vista then? Think I have 2 legit CDs for Half Life and Opposing force for some reason as well as the turd that is Blue Shift.

Yeah the Valve engine seems to love Vista, I think its because its too simple to work out that it shouldnt like it, unlike these new fancy games. Mine runs every Steam/Valve title I own without any problems.
